Anniversary

Mom, I thought you would want to see the chair that you helped me pick out, and I thought it would only be fair to include what Brittany got me. The chair turned out really nice, those Amish know what they are doing. Brittany got me a bunch of cool stuff, as you can see. I kept talking about how good those pickled sunflower seeds were from Smith, but we looked and they don't sell them in hell, so she had to order an entire case to get them sent out here. So...I have about 12 pounds of them, I should be good for a while. This weekend we went to Chicago and saw this Body Works exhibit they have in a museum, where they "plastinate" human bodies. You guys should check out the website for the exhibit, it was freaking amazing. Here is a link to the exhibit: http://www.msichicago.org/bodyworlds/index.html. Ok, talk to you all later.

BBQ at the Bentleys'

Brittany and I went for a BBQ at Mark and Lori's the other night because the temperature had dropped about 35 degrees in two days (it was sooooo nice). So, Brittany was playing with Carson with the sprinkler.
The one kind of looks like Carson was going to hit Brittany, but he was really just splashing her with water.

Beautiful Sunset in God's Country

I don't know if it was the smoke or what, but the sunset was awesome the other day, and I thought that I would share it.

New license plates

Hi guys,

I wanted you to see my new license plates. Library employees were able to choose their numbers and of course the 50 is for the half-century b-day present last year. Anyway, I thought it was pretty cute.

Love you all,

Mom

Birthday Dad

Hi guys,
Dad had a happy day and the best surprise to him was that he is 53 and not 54 like he thought he was. He appreciated the calls and gifts.
Love you all

Climbing in Veyo

Veyo is awesome. We went on Wednesday morning and had an absolute blast. The water brings the temperature down to acceptable. You still sweat like crazy, but climbing is climbing and somebody has to do it!

Logan tells Reed his first bedtime store

Logan decided that he would tell the night time story this night. It included every super hero ever seen or heard of connected by verbs like 'kicking butt, biting, fighting, flying, etc." Needless to say, it was quite an action packed story!

Davenport!!!!!!

I just thought you all might like to see this. The forecast for Sunday is for 103-105, and humidity between 40-50%. So, here is a link to a heat index table (taking into account the humidity) so you can all see what the temperature should be here on Sunday!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!http://www.crh.noaa.gov/iwx/heatindex.shtml.

Nobody has posted anything in the last couple of days, so I thought maybe I would put up an old picture of Lexi, just to keep things fresh.

Smoke from fires

Check this out. This is looking toward the E mountain. Can't see the hill behind that with the antannas on it. Not sure where the fires are, but I am sure there are more than one. This could be a long hot summer.

B-Day in Lamoille

Hi everyone,
We sure had a good time in Lamoille. It was very pretty and Annie had a blast in the water. She had several circle fits that were pretty fun to watch. It was a very good birthday. Thanks for all your calls and gifts.
Love you lots,
Mom

Sunset on Mom's b-day

Check out this sunset over the Mississippi tonight, it was pretty cool. And, to answer your question beforehand mom, no, it isn't fake. My photoshop program kind of died, and so until I can find somewhere else to steal it from, I will have to only post real pictures that actually existed.

New washer and dryer

We just got a washer and dryer (finally) and we are pretty excited, it is fun to watch the clothes wash and dry throught the little windows. Mark and Lori stopped by, and Carson loved to see all the bubbles in the washer. Anyway, this is all that's happening with us right now

Chamberlain Family Pictures

Chamberlain Family Pictures

Try this for a nice slab start. This overhang is about 8 ft. off the ground, sticks out about 3 feet. Lots of fun getting over, then you are on a slab. Life doesn't get better than that.

New wall at Lamoille

This thing looks to be something over 100 feet, (where the black streaks go all the way down). So much to do, so little time

Annie's birthday party

Hi everyone,
As you can see Annie had a very happy birthday party yesterday. She didn't seem to mind that she didn't have any gifts or cards. She was just very happy with her new bone. I don't even think she knew that almost everyone forgot her big day.
(Just kidding) Can you believe that she is 7 yrs. old?
Love you guys,
Mom

Canoeing Trip

Brittany and I just got back from a canoeing trip down the Wisconsin river. This place was a three hour drive from Hell, but it was a pretty drive through cool farmland and little windy roads. Anyway, the trip was awesome, the water felt so good, and you would just go down this river and pick any random island (there were a ton of them and they were all huge) and find a sandy beach and camp. I didn't take my digital camera, because I thought that there might be a chance we could tip the canoe, so I just took a film camera, but when I get the pictures developed, I will post some of them on here. The place was just amazing...funny that the coolest thing I have found about living in Iowa is that you can leave it and go to Wisconsin.

First Attempt, Logan in Snow Canyon
