Landon's activities

This is what I found a few days ago when I got out of the shower. After stopping him from climbing in the microwave, he was only too happy to show me that he had unwrapped a whole loaf of bread we had been given and was taking bites out of it. As you can see, he didn't feel one bit guilty. Nothing in our house is safe when Landon is unsupervised.

First snow storm

Melanie played in the snow for the first time yesterday. She didn't exactly enjoy herself, but we took pictures anyway. She looks a little bit wide in the first picture, we know. We're working on it.

Quality Home Builders

It's too bad homes aren't selling well these days, 'cause we could retire with the cash collected from these beauties! We had a great evening with our annual gingerbread house-making FHE. Had Nathan been involved, we would have experienced a serious shortage in our building supplies (candy).

Rain

Last weekend it snowed for a couple of days, then got pretty warm and rained for a couple of days. The result was a ton of water, and lots of flooding. I got the first picture from the newspaper, so we didn't actually see anything that bad, but the picture was taken probably 30 minutes from where we live. The worst we saw was water coming up over sidewalks. The store Dustin works at was even closed for the day because water was coming in the front door! Landon loved it....as you can see. He found all sorts of things to throw in the puddles, and didn't mind being soaking wet. (I would just like to point out that I realize his jacket is buttoned wrong, we were all in a bit of a hurry to get him outside.)

Scott= hard core

So, I forgot to check the forecast this morning when I left. Everyone kept asking if I rode today, and I kept thinking, "Yeah, it isn't any colder than it has been, what's the big deal?" I guess they did check the forecast. Don't worry mom, I won't do this again, Brittany yelled at me for a good long while. I really didn't know it was supposed to snow.
