Birthday Boy

Here are a couple of pictures of Natey's dog-themed party. As you can see, he thoroughly loved his cake!

Melanie loves bananas. She usually eats at least two a day (impressive when you consider her ridiculously small stomach). One pictures is of her excited that we said she could have a banana. The other is her trying to shove in as much as possible into her mouth. Not exactly lady like, but bananas are good.

We're trying a new program that automatically downloads pictures to the blog. We can't believe our little Natey is almost one!!

Update on snow in Elko

No, it hasn't snowed again, well actually about an inch or so but that doesn't count. The newspaper tonight reported that January was the 5th snowest January on record. 28 inches of snow in January and another 8 in February.

After looking at Lori's post of the massive snow fall in St George, though I would post a couple more of Elko. One is just around the corner from our house this morning, other is the street at our house. Notice our garbage can in the driveway, in front of the snow bank.

Jeopardy is the only show Melanie watches, and she loves the final jeopardy song. No matter what she is doing, she will drop it and dance for the whole song.

We also made the mistake of swinging Melanie in the blanket, and now she insists on it before bed every night or she screams bloody murder. She starts asking for more before we even put her down.

St. George Winter Wonderland

It's our

first (and probably only) snowstorm of the year! And as you can tell from the picture, we got dumped on. I don't know what Mom and Dad are complaining about! The kids had a blast with our 0.001 inches of snow.

Snow in Elko

This is Garth, on the sidewalk beteen our house and the neighbors to the West. We are susposed to get another 8 inches tonight.
