Basketball

Landon loves his new basketball hoop. We don't always keep it by his crib, but this way we didn't have to hold him up or retreive balls.. As you can see, it is serious business.

Creepy Cat

This evening, Landon walked up to me and sound "meow". He does a lot of animal sounds, but the cat is a pretty new one and usually he wont do it unless I remind him how it sounds. So, I was surprised when he did it out of the blue. Here is our conversation
Landon- "Meow"
Me- "Oh...did you see a cat?"
Landon- "Uh huh"
Me- "Where did you see the cat?" (thinking he saw it in a book since we are inside and it is too dark to see outside)
Landon- points to the ceiling.
Me- "You saw a cat on the ceiling?"
Landon- "uh huh. Meow. Meow."

At this point I start thinking of the movie The Ring, and that I probably have a dead cat walking around on my ceiling. Landon was pretty persistent the rest of the night that there was indeed a cat on our ceiling. Here is a clip so you can see for yourselves.

Yep, still hardcore

Actually, I had just heard the temp on the news before I left, and it was really -5, but with the windchill it was -30. Either way I rule.

Here are even more videos. Brittany wanted me to clarify that any time she doesn't have her hair done is only because it is right before bed.

1. Melanie loves cheesy potatoes, they make a huge mess. She also thinks pretty much any noise she makes is hilarious.

3. She loves being chased.
4. Melanie also loves showering, she moves these little letters back and forth for about half hour each day.

Christmas toy

Mom and Dad, here is a video of Melanie playing with the toy that you got her. It is pretty funny, she gets really excited when she gets it right, but true to nature, she stopped smiling and everything as soon as I started recording it. We have to watch out when she gets going; she doesn't mess around with that hammer. Notice her left hand finger pointing, she pretty much always does that.
