Used tires

Now this is a strange post. As you know, we are cleaning and painting the garage. There is a set of studded snow tires, size 195/60 R14 85T that were for Kellys green Honda. Unless someone needs them, there are out of there.

More reunion pictures

Hi guys,
Here are some more pictures of the reunion. And what would a reunion be without Petey. I will post some more later.
We sure did miss the ones that weren't there.

Faye's Reunion

A couple of pictures from the event. We had a good time. It was fun spending time with Kristen, Kevin and Kalie. We will post a few more, or maybe email. The group shot is for Johnny. Chris had the kids make ties for everyone, so notice those.

Dog Broker

This is Joe's new dog with Lucy and Annie. Things are going great so far and Annie is showing the little guys around. We will be leaving tomorrow for Grandma's reunion and taking the whole crew.

Monday, August 22, 2005

I thought I would post this one for those of us who like to have a good time with the rentals. This was ours in HI. We went over a big bump pretty fast and it sounded horrible on the car but we didn't think much of it. When we stopped a little ways down the road to check out something, a local was kind enough to bring us the part of the car that had fallen off. We ended sticking it back on with glue. I'm sure it was pretty strong glue.....

Lexi smiling and a work of art

I didn't believe Mark and Lori at first, but it turns out that Lexi smiles!

Remember back in the day when 2 pans would feed 7 of us? This is just about the right amount for the two of us (and look how great that looks!!!).

one more Lamoille

Not sure if this is Kelly or Kevin. That that great scenry. By the way, white spot in the middle in one of them.

Climbing in Lamoille

Kevin, Kelly, Kelly's friend Cam and Duane Jones spent the last three days climbing in Lamoille. Put up some awsome routes, at least the top anchors. The one picture is the old man working up to a serious roof. In the second picture, look close. That tiny white spot is Kevin at the top of the picture. That was a long climb. Both routes really worked us. We did some other new ones that were steller also.

Funny Story

I didn't know if Kristen was going to share this but it is too funny to let go. You know how dogs will roll in anything dead and love to get that stuff all over them. Well, Kristen said she saw Lucy rolling on something and went to see what it was. After looking closely, she saw that Lucy had been rolling on a dead fly. The visual of that is so funny. What a funny little dog that is sure a source of lots of laughs and that is worth a lot.

UNR Student!!

Hey everybody,
Just wanted to let you know that I am a UNR student. I am taking a 3 credit cataloging class. How about that. It is all on-line so that will be good. Even though I won't set foot on their campus I still had to send a shot record. Just like a kid. Anyway, it should be a good class to help with my job.
Love everyone,
Mom

new phone number

Guys, I have a new phone here, so my new number is 563-271-0037. I will still have my old number as well for about a week, but then I will shut that one off.

Scott
The famous Laie Inn.

They were pretty good cones though.

This is the line outside the shaved ice place. We thought there would be a ride at the end of the line, but there was just some overpriced snowcones.

It doesn't look like it, but I am like 6 inches from this guy's hole.

Right outside the BYU Campus.

These are Kristen's dorms, I think.

We landed on this island on the kayak trip. A wave much like this one made us look like tourists when we tried to beach our kayak.

This dog helped us unearth a massive crab.

At last, this fetcher came out after the dog removed about three feet of sand.

We were very happy to receive a free upgrade from a Toyota echo to a Sweet-A Jeep Wrangler!! (Don't worry Scott, I drove too.)

This is Shark's cove. We snorkled here at least once a day.

This one is taken across from our hotel.

Another web page worth checking out

Ok, maybe it is just me that has nothing better to do, but check out this web page. While it isn't as good as the dailydancer website (also worth checking out), it is still pretty funny. I guess it was on Leno the other night. Just think, if it weren't for the internet, how would we ever see stuff like this? Anyway, here it is. Basically, it is nothing more than short videos of people eating food and crying!!!

Annie in Lamoille

We went to Lamoille Canyon after work for a picnic. It was really nice. Temp. was about 70, some clouds so not too much sun. We had a good time. Anyway, every time we go we are trying to get a good shot of Annie. Still trying. But this one is got a better background than some of the ones we took. We were just across from the picnic area at the mouth of the canyon.

Carson holding Lexi

Carson goes nuts whenever he gets the chance to hold his little sister, as you can see. They're great friends.

Lori, I was messing around on the page, and accidentally deleted this posting of yours, so I posted it again. There was a comment with it (by Dad, I think) but that got deleted. Sorry.

Our blue-eyed girl!!

Hopefully you don't get tired of seeing pictures of our kids. That's the only thing we can find to take pictures of, as we don't have a photographic eye like Scott. We don't know where her blue eyes came from but we hope they stay blue.

New Job

Hey everyone, just thought I would let you know I am now officially a working woman. I just started my training/job shadowing yesterday. I am working as an on call mental health counselor. (I don't know why they think I am qualified for that, but whatever.) I will be working with kids 4-18 who come to stay in this solitary room. Its a little crazy, there are video cameras everywhere and we are being watched by the big people downstairs incase anything goes wrong. The kids that come here are either in between foster homes, or their parents are abusive and they need to be in a foster home. We are given money and are supposed to take them out to do normal things (Go to parks, movies, shopping, etc.) while they are waiting for a new place to live. So I think it will be a really cool job after I get used to everything. Anyway, I'll let you all know how everything goes.

Late night can't sleep posting

I have to finish this big project I have been working on for the last six months by Friday. I have never been affected by projects before, and my sleep has suffered. Anyway, we have a guy that says he wants to do a car dealership with us (the purpose of this project). I don't know if it is a real deal or not, but the guy has a lot of money, and he likes what we have to say. I will keep you guys posted, and get some pictures to you of land, etc, if this really goes. The boys are doing good. Reed has developed a tantrum phase, and it is impressive. He gets so worked up for no apparent reason, and then he can't wind down. Hopefully I can get this on video, its a sight to see. Love you guys lots, and keep posting stuff, it is great to see what everyone is doing.

Sunday, August 07, 2005

Hey everyone, as mom was saying to me, we should also use this to say what has been going on instead of just posting pictures, since none of us take pictures all that often. Sooo, the only thing that has been going on with me is that I got first place twice last week!!!!!!!! Yeah, I had a neuro-anatomy quiz in the morning, and out of the 168 in my class, I won by a few seconds, and then the same day in the afternoon, I had a biochem test and I destroyed everybody. I'm not sure how I did on them, but I definitely got first place, so that is all that really matters.

Lucy

Lucy taking off with my belt. She only likes a toy if she gets in trouble for having it.

Lake Crescent

This lake is so cool, everytime I've seen it its been perfectly calm so you can see the reflection perfectly. Well, it looks like Dustin and I may be taking over the family picture sight.

Carson and Lexi having fun

This is one of the rare instances when both kids are smiling. This is how Carson smiles when you say "Smile" before taking a picture!

Tulip Festival

I think everyone had a chance to see a picture of the tulip festival from the newsletter, but I just thought I would show another. Thats Dad, Mom and I.

Realto Beach

This is a beach a couple hours away from us that has some pretty massive drift wood. (That's Dustin standing on the tree.)

Not the greatest picture ever, but here are those oahu mountains that are so cool we could hardly stand it. (that was a Lori saying.)

BYUH

I just wanted to show Lori the changes with the school, mostly just the big "Enter to learn, go forth to serve" thing. Is that an attractive school or what?

Hawaii

Here is one picture from HI, sorry it took so long to post it Scott! I don't know if I made it small or not, so we are going to go ahead and try this. And if it works, I will put some more on. And if not, sorry if it takes a long time to download.
